Cessario, Romanus
Fr Romanus Cessario, O.P. (b. 1944), has taught at Saint John's Seminary, School of Theology in Boston, Mass since 1995. Prior to that he taught at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington. D.C. Strongly shaped by Thomas Aquinas ("I think that Aquinas' instruction in moral theology and on the sacraments...ranks among his most outstanding contributions to the new evangelization"), his Introduction to Moral Theology (2001) is a heavyweight guide to traditional Catholic moral theology shaped by Pope John Paul II's Veritatis Splendor.
